Juliana is an economist with a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Glasgow and over 25 years of experience in the environment and energy sectors. She worked at the Brazilian National Industry Confederation, where she led key initiatives on energy transition and carbon markets. She also served as Senior Energy Adviser to the British Government in Brazil and contributed to environmental programs at the United Nations. Juliana has published several technical studies, worked as a consultant, and participated in the last five COPs, closely following negotiations on carbon markets and climate finance.
