Julie Ireland is a recently retired doctor having spent 30 years specialising in sexual and reproductive health in Glasgow. For the past 17 years she has also worked as a forensic sexual offences examiner in a sexual assault service. She has had a lifelong interest in teaching and training, latterly working for NHS Education for Scotland to create and run a national training programme for sexual offences examiners. She is currently enjoying some down time but misses her patients.
