Read moreDetailsLiam McLaughlin is a Politics, Philosophy, and Economics graduate from the University of Edinburgh, currently studying a MSc in European Economics at the College of Europe in Bruges. He is an aspiring economist, pro-European, and has published for The National Newspaper, Insight Economics Magazine, and The University of Edinburgh. He is a Scot of French and Irish parentage, and a fervent Europhile. He grew up in Edinburgh and attended James Gillespies High School, a state school in Edinburgh South.
Having at one point represented Scotland in the swimming pool, he hopes to help re-build a favourable reputation for Britain within Europe’s institutions. Liam’s particular interests are in international trade, European economic diplomacy, and the integration of Europe’s financial markets.
