I have received multiple awards, including Best Art Teacher, Teacher Incentive Award, and Refugee Week Ambassador for asylum seekers I was also the first City of Sanctuary artist in residence at D6 and was shortlisted by the Scottish Refugee Council to create a mural for Refugee Festival Scotland. Exhibited my art work internationally, with notable shows at Baltic photography exhibition , Newcastle University, and in the USA, UK, India, and Mexico. My work has been published by UNHCR, Baltic, and Newcastle College, using art to raise awareness of asylum seekers' struggles.
