Dr. Mike Galsworthy, the recently elected chair of the European Movement (EM), the leading pro-EU organisation, is to speak in Glasgow on Saturday 24th June. The event at Strathclyde University Business School starts at 6pm. It is an all-ticket meeting and all are welcome. There is no charge for entry. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.

Dr. Galsworthy will be a guest of the European Movement in Scotland (EMiS).

David Clarke, chair of EMiS says,

“We are delighted to welcome Mike Galsworthy to Scotland. Every part of Scotland voted Remain in the 2016 EU referendum. Since then it has consistently shown the highest support for re-joining the EU of any part of the UK. Since becoming chair of the European Movement, Mike has overseen a huge revival in support for the EU in England and Wales and steady growth in EM membership. We are united in our objective of seeing all the nations of the UK re-join the EU, whatever their constitutional status.”

The European Movement in Scotland and the European Movement are non-party-political organisations open to all people who believe in a united, peaceful and integrated Europe that promotes peace, prosperity and democracy.
