Scotland’s first Festival of Europe, being held on 11 and 12 May, has announced that Angus Robertson, Cabinet Secretary for Constitution, External Affairs and Culture, has been added to the high-powered lineup of speakers and organisations involved in the two-day event. The festival is being held at Summerhall, the increasingly popular Edinburgh arts and events venue.
Angus Robertson’s talk will be on Sunday morning, 12 May, at 10.30 am. A month ago, he gave evidence to the Commons Scottish Affairs Committee in Edinburgh and has warned that devolution is “under threat as never before”. He said that since the Brexit vote, English ministers embarked on an “increasingly interventionist approach into devolved policy matters and the erosion of the protections provided to devolved institutions.”
Admission is free, though tickets are needed for admission. Book tickets to hear Angus Robertson here.
